Konrad Turek talked with Tom Emery on the ODDISEI Podcast about open science, the efficiency of scientific collaborations, and the CPF Open Harmonization. They discussed what it takes to build open infrastructure for the social sciences — from the practical challenges of harmonizing survey data across countries to the broader question of how collaborative, open-source models can reshape how we do research.

Many thanks to Tom and the ODISSEI team for the opportunity to share these ideas, and for last year’s Open Science award! There is no better platform to explore these topics — by connecting, reorganizing, promoting, and de-routinizing social science, ODISSEI is paving the way for a more innovative research infrastructure.
